39/55 'Let It Rain' (2008)
Day 39! Rain, rain, rain. I live in Portland, Oregon where it rains a bit. The sky is more gray than how much it really rains, but there are times where the sun hides for long stretches. Lack of sun can make one grumpy. I wrote this little gospel type spiritual to take me out of the gray and celebrate the rain. This song is about musical, metaphorical rain that washes your spirit and soul. It is about rain that cleanses your heart and mind. Let it rain, let it rain, let it rain!
